I don't know much about Robert Fripp, the guitarist from King Crimson and Bowie / Eno collaborator and anyone else whoever mattered. So I was interested to read this reprint of an interview with Fripp from 1974 where he announced the end of King Crimson. As many people know the band continued on for a few decades after this, but that's beside the point.
It's a fascinating interview of a very unique person. There's quite a bit of young man's intellectual arrogance on display here, but it gives an insight into his singular way of thinking. His predictions for the USA and the world haven't transpired, although it feels like the end of times for America right now.
